The 5 Solas
Five words. Five truths. One Reformation.
In the 16th century, men and women risked everything to recover what the church had buried under centuries of tradition and human merit. They didn't invent new theology — they rediscovered ancient truth. And they staked their lives on it.
The Five Solas are that truth, distilled.
Sola Scriptura — Scripture Alone. God's Word is the final authority. Not tradition. Not consensus. Not culture. The Bible alone speaks with the voice of God.
Sola Fide — Faith Alone. We are justified before God by faith alone — not by works, not by merit, not by religious performance. Faith receives what grace freely gives.
Sola Gratia — Grace Alone. Salvation is entirely God's doing. From beginning to end, it is grace — unearned, undeserved, and unstoppable.
Solus Christus — Christ Alone. There is no other mediator. No other name. No other way. Jesus Christ — His life, death, and resurrection — is the only ground of our standing before God.
Soli Deo Gloria — Glory to God Alone. Everything exists for His glory. Every breath. Every design. Every purchase. For His Glory alone.
