There's a verse that has outlasted every empire that tried to silence it.
"The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever." — Isaiah 40:8
Isaiah wrote those words in a moment of national crisis. Israel was exhausted, exiled, and wondering if God had forgotten them. And into that silence, the prophet speaks — not with a battle plan, but with a declaration about the nature of God's Word.
It endures.
Not because it's popular. Not because culture agrees with it. But because it is the living, active, unbreakable speech of the One who holds all things together.
What Does It Mean That His Word Endures?
It means the promises God made to Abraham are still in effect. It means the covenant sealed at Calvary has not expired. It means the Scripture you read this morning is as alive and authoritative as the day it was breathed out.
We live in an age that treats truth like a trend — something to be updated, revised, or discarded when it becomes inconvenient. But the Word of God doesn't bend to the moment. The moment bends to it.
That's not arrogance. That's anchor.
Wearing the Word
There's something powerful about putting a declaration on your body and walking out the door with it. It's not about being loud — it's about being rooted. When someone asks about your shirt, you get to tell them about a God whose Word has never failed, whose promises are yes and amen, and whose truth is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
The His Word Endures Tee was designed for exactly that kind of quiet, confident witness. Soft-washed fabric. Vintage faded finish. A message that doesn't need to shout because it has already stood the test of time.
A Challenge for This Week
Read Isaiah 40 in full. Sit with it. Let the weight of verses 28–31 settle into your chest — the God who does not grow weary, who gives strength to the exhausted, who causes those who wait on Him to mount up with wings like eagles.
Then go live like you believe it.
Because His Word endures. And so does your witness.
